Impact-Resistant, Flat Iron Core Caster

This 10" × 3" (250-10) model carries up to 2,000 kg (4,409 lbs) on a
single wheel
— that is a combined 8,000 kg (17,637 lbs) system load
when a standard four-caster configuration is used. The 75mm wide flat
tread distributes weight across a broad contact patch, making it ideal for
extreme point loads, uneven floors and shock-heavy environments.

Every A04-1KU caster is engineered in-house at our factory and supplied in
three mounting styles: Rigid (Fixed), Swivel and Swivel + Brake — so
you can specify the exact steering and locking behaviour your equipment

▌ A. Iron Core Polypropylene (Pu) Wheel — Shore A 95–98
   • Cast PP tread bonded directly to a solid steel iron core — the
     material will NOT delaminate under load (unlike bonded rubber).
   • Shore A 95–98 is the upper limit of industrial hardness: it resists
     cutting, chunking and abrasion from steel shavings, weld spatter and
     rough concrete.
   • PP is naturally self-lubricating, low-friction and resistant to
     most oils, greases, alkalis and many chemicals — a major advantage
     over natural rubber in factory environments.
   • The flat (zero-crown) tread profile keeps the full 75mm width in
     contact with the floor for maximum stability.
   • White/light colour makes contamination and wear visually easy to
     spot on the shop floor.

▌ B. The 75mm Extra-Wide Tread — What Makes This Size Different
   (Standard casters use a 50mm wide wheel. Here is why 75mm matters.)

   ✓ Larger contact patch = lower floor pressure (PSI).
     A 2,000kg load spreads over 75mm of tread instead of 50mm, so the
     wheel is far less likely to sink into soft floors, epoxy coatings,
     wooden planks or lightweight workshop flooring.

   ✓ Superior weight distribution on uneven floors.
     The wider footprint bridges small gaps, expansion joints, floor
     seams and slight surface irregularities without the wheel "dropping"
     into every dip — protecting both the load and the operator.

   ✓ Dramatically improved lateral (side-to-side) stability.
     A wide wheel resists tipping and racking forces when a heavily
     loaded trolley is pushed off-axis or turned sharply. This is
     critical for tall, narrow die carts and mold carriers.

   ✓ Reduced rolling resistance under extreme load.
     The broad tread deforms less under compression, so the wheel rolls
     more freely and requires less push force than a narrow wheel carrying
     the same 2,000kg.

   ✓ Better heat dissipation from the iron core.
     More tread mass and a larger steel core surface area mean heat
     generated by continuous heavy rolling is dissipated faster — the
     wheel stays cooler and lasts longer in 24/7 operations.

   ✓ Increased service life.
     The same total load is shared over a larger tread volume, so wear
     is distributed and the caster simply lasts longer between changes.

▌ C. Galvanized Steel Bracket (8mm Thick)
   • Hot-dip galvanized finish provides a thick, bonded zinc layer that
     protects against rust, humidity, cutting fluids and wash-down
     environments — far superior to painted brackets, where paint chips
     and corrosion starts immediately.
   • 5mm thick formed steel plate absorbs shock loads without bending,
     cracking or de-welding — essential at 2,000kg per caster.
   • Precision robotic welding on every load-bearing joint.
   • The 160 × 160mm reinforced top plate with four 16mm bolt holes
     distributes mounting stress evenly across the equipment base — no
     plate flex, no pull-out.

▌ D. 6205 Precision Ball Bearing
   • Large 6205 bearing (25 × 52 × 15mm) sized specifically for heavy
     radial and impact loads.
   • Sealed construction keeps dust, grit and moisture out while

Q2: What is the difference between the 75mm wide wheel and a standard 50mm?
A:  The 75mm wide tread provides a much larger contact area, which lowers
