This is the largest and strongest model in the A04-1KU Series -- our Super Heavy Duty, Impact-Resistant, Flat Iron Core Caster engineered for loads that push every other caster to its limit.
The 12" × 3" (300-12) model carries up to 2,500 kg (5,512 lbs) on a single wheel -- a combined 10,000 kg (22,046 lbs) system load in a standard four-caster setup. The 75mm wide flat tread creates an exceptionally large contact patch, giving this wheel outstanding stability and floor protection under extreme point loads.
Every caster is manufactured in-house and supplied in three mounting styles: Rigid (Fixed), Swivel and Swivel + Brake -- specify exactly the steering and locking configuration your equipment requires.

A. Iron Core PU Wheel -- Shore A 95-98
  • Cast PU tread permanently bonded to a solid steel iron core -- the material cannot delaminate under load (unlike glued rubber tyres)
  • Shore A 95-98 sits at the very top of the industrial hardness scale: it shrugs off cutting, chunking and abrasion from steel shavings, weld spatter, slag and rough concrete
  • PU is naturally self-lubricating, low-friction and highly resistant to oils, greases, alkalis and most industrial chemicals -- a clear advantage over natural rubber in factory and foundry environments
  • The flat (zero-crown) tread profile keeps the full 75mm width in contact with the floor for maximum stability and load distribution

B. The 75mm Extra-Wide Tread -- What Makes This Size Different
(Standard casters use a 50mm wide wheel. Here is why 75mm matters.)
  • Larger contact patch = dramatically lower floor pressure (PSI). A 2,500kg load is spread over 75mm of tread instead of 50mm, so the wheel will not sink into soft flooring, epoxy coatings, wooden planks or lightweight workshop surfaces -- critical for 10-tonne+ equipment
  • Superior weight distribution on uneven floors. The wider footprint bridges expansion joints, floor seams, slight surface irregularities and small gaps without the wheel dropping in, protecting both the load and the operator
  • Outstanding lateral (side-to-side) stability. A wide wheel strongly resists tipping and racking when a heavily loaded trolley is pushed off-axis or turned sharply -- essential for tall, narrow mold carriers, die carts and transformer dollies
  • Reduced rolling resistance under extreme load. The broad tread deforms less under compression, so the wheel rolls more freely and requires less push force than a narrow wheel carrying the same 2,500kg
  • Better heat dissipation from the iron core. More tread mass and a larger steel core surface area dissipate the heat generated by continuous heavy rolling faster -- the wheel runs cooler and lasts longer in 24/7 operations
  • Longer service life. The same total load is shared over a larger tread volume, so wear is distributed and the caster lasts longer between changes -- reducing downtime and replacement cost

  • Hot-dip galvanized finish forms a thick, bonded zinc coating that protects against rust, humidity, cutting fluids and wash-down -- far superior to painted brackets, where paint chips and corrosion starts immediately
